Ongrid system

Ongrid system

Solar module park is a so-called ongrid system, ie a non-independent, network-connected system (209.8 kW). In the solar module park, GEC are testing different concepts of modules, frames, foundations and inverters.

There are two solar module parks; Solar module park 1 och Solar module park 2.

Solar module park 1

There are four existing sections of a total of 136.2 kW, of which 108.2 kW was built in 2009 and then was supplemented in 2012 with an additional 28 kW.

Plant no 1 (4,6 kW)

20 modules from REC Solar

Inverters from SMA

Solar frames from Terrafix

Ground anchoring bolts from Jordankartjänst

Plant no 2 (17,6 kW)

80 modules from Innotech Solar, fore different kinds

Inverters from Eltek Valere

Solar frames from Solkraft Mounting Systems

Ground anchoring bolts from Terrafix

Plant no 3 (86 kW)

400 modules from REC Modules

Inverters from ABB

Solar frames from Solkraft Mounting Systems

Ground anchoring bolts from Terrafix

RnD Plant no 4 (28 kW)

120 modules fromInnotech Solar and SweModule.

Inverters from Microinverter, Optistring, SolarMagic and SMA

Solar frames and ground anchoring bolts Schetter and from different thesis works of students at Karlstad university, including one solar frame in wood.

Solar module park 2

In Solar module park 2 there are two additional sections with a total of 73.6 kW.

Fortum’s section (50,6 kW)

220 modules

Inverters from ABB

Solar frames from Mounting Systems

Ground anchring bolts from reused concrete cross-ties

GECs anläggning på (23 kW)

100 moduler

Inverters från ABB

Solar frames from Mounting Systems

Ground anchoring bolts from reused concrete cross-ties

Measuring equipment

All ongrid systems are connected to the measuring equipment for power quality measurement from Metrum. Fortum conducts tests of how solar energy affects the power grid.
